SnehaCares is a non-profit organization registered under section 501(c)(3) in the United States.
Our mission is to set up vocational centers for young adults living with HIV and provide ongoing support to sustain the vocational centers. We also implement programs that help advance the lives of these young adults.
About us
From 2013 to 2021, Sneha Cares partnered with Sneha Charitable Trust in Bangalore, India to accomplish our goals. Snehadaan and Snehagram are two orphanages in Karnataka under the care of Sneha Charitable Trust. Approximately 300 children and young adults infected with HIV through birth get medical assistance and attend school in these two locations. Sneha Cares set up two vocational centers at Snehadaan campus that provided safe work environment, tools and support for young adults who are under the care of Sneha Charitable Trust.
Many of these young adults are 18 years and have aged out to be living in an orphanage. They are currently independent, living and working outside Snehadaan campus. Our organization has set up Shine On Candle Making candle making unit and Shiloh tailoring unit in Bangalore City for their convenience. We provide encouragement, guidance, information and financial help when need.
In the summer of 2023, we started SnehaCares Matching Savings Program to motivate the young adults to save for for their future. Please visit SnehaCares Matching Saving Program to learn more and donate towards this program.

Our office is located in Walnut Creek, California. Our officers and board of directors bring a wide range of life experiences and passion to serve others.
